Medical Services has the capability to process client information using High-Speed batch scanning through our document imaging scanners. Our scanners are capable of duplex scanning at speeds up to 83 pages per minute. Documents and images can be scanned or imported from your files directly into our storage Jukebox, which allows for faster processing.

We provide several opportunities for assisting our clients with scanning information to enhance the movement of data in a safe, fast and secure manner. We use Document Mall, a web- based product from Lanier, as one secure method of file transfer between our clients and us. This product allows for batches to reach our facility quicker, with no over night mail costs to our client.

Consumer Correspondence, EOB’s and Medical Record data are a part of our daily scanning process. Our data entry/charge out coders depend on this method of operation whenever possible. With our imaging system, our coders and charge-entry personnel are able to work conveniently from their PC’s without having to go locate batches within the office. Our Tele-form scanning software allows us to perform OCR, (optical character recognition), on select patient demographic forms, building a clean demographic file, which imports directly into our billing system.

Due to our reliable scanning of emergency room medical record information, we have often assisted our clients in finding information in a timely manner, to enhance billing opportunities. Our imaging system allows for a more improved customer service, increased productivity, and a more streamlined business process.
