(October 2010)- For the second year in a row, Medical Services of Chattanooga and North American Credit Services (NACS) employees wore shades of pink, company-wide, in support of increasing awareness of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
"We have five, fun-Fridays to celebrate this October with some of our employee‟s favorite passions, such as Breast Cancer Awareness," shared Beverly Bunton, Sr, Vice President for NACS. "This is also a time for us to celebrate survivors and wrap our arms of support around some of our clients, employees, care-givers and extended families, whom are currently being directly impacted by such a life-changing illness as cancer." Employees purchased over $1,200 of assorted pink items in support of the cause such as: Tshirts, hats, scarves, socks, arm-bands and hand-bags, from the local American Cancer Society (ACS) chapter office.
Company's October's festivities also kicked-off the company sponsored annual ACS 'Relay for Life' benefit held in Collegedale, currently being planned for April 2011.
