Medical Services employees, recently participated in the 2016 National Go Red Day in support of the American Heart Association.
"As a cardiac survivor, I've learned to celebrate each day and each year more," said Dallas S. Bunton, Sr., CEO and chairman with NACS and Medical Services. "Many of my employees have also directly experienced this either for themselves or a loved one."
Employees were provided with health resource information and an opportunity to share personal testimonies on whom they were honoring by wearing red during the event.
"Employee wellness partnerships such as AHA's Go Red initiative create an opportunity in workplaces such as ours to engage employees in increased health prevention and awareness, while at work and at home," Bunton said.
NACS and Medical Services have been recognized by the American Heart Association as a Gold Level Fit-Friendly Worksite since 2012 and by the Governors Foundation for Health and Wellness for being a Healthier Tennessee Workplace.
